The Trapper Inn is now the Lexington at Jackson Hole Hotel & Suites

Though our name has changed our ownership has not, nor has our commitment to providing locals and guests to Jackson Hole with the best in value, comfort and service.  For forty years, the Trapper name adorned our property located at 285 N. Cache.  Founded by Max and Helen Kudar in 1970, the family tradition continues with Diana (Kudar) and Tim Waycott as our owners.  Diana and Tim purchased the property from Diana’s parents in 1998 expanded the property in 2006 and joined the Lexington Collection in 2009.

The Lexington brand is a new collection of hotels, villas, resorts and plazas selecting properties with a minimum three star rating specializing in location-unique hotels that offer quality and individual experience for the discerning traveler.   The brand will provide new exposure to international and web-wide markets while focusing on local knowledge and service that our guests have become accustomed to with the Trapper staff.

Also noteworthy is the addition of Ed Krajsky, formerly with the Wyoming Inn, joining our team as General Manager.  We hope you can stop by for fresh homemade chocolate chip cookies, say hi to Ed and our staff, and see what The Lexington has to offer.

Here at The Lexington at Jackson Hole, the environment is very important to us. We live in one of the most beautiful, natural settings in the country, and we strive to do all we can to preserve its pristine serenity.

We recycle property wide - not just in the office and the common areas, but also in the guest rooms. Our maids carefully separate the trash so our guests can relax, knowing that we are taking care of everything. We also use solar power to heat our water.

In each room, there are signs encouraging the guest to reuse towels and sheets instead of laundering them daily during lengthy stays. In our breakfast area, we do not use disposable plates or plasticware.

Behind the scenes, we reuse paper in our fax and copy machines, and recycle it when both sides have been used. All our light bulbs have been replaced with eco-friendly energy conserving bulbs. When we replace furniture, we sell it well below cost to locals or donate it to Habitat for Humanity.

We hope you will join us at The Lexington at Jackson Hole whenever you pass through our town!
